sw900 display manual

The SW900 display is a multifunctional controller used on many e-bikes, providing essential data and control options to enhance your riding experience. From the UP and DOWN button you can increase or decrease a particular parameter and from the M button you can explore multi-function mode.

The SW900 display connects to your e-bike’s controller and motor, allowing you to view key riding metrics and adjust performance settings. By navigating through the display’s menu, you can set parameters like pedal-assist levels, monitor your battery status, and diagnose any issues that may arise through error codes.

What parameters Its Display Shows:

1. Speed : Displays your current speed in real-time, typically in miles per hour (mph) or kilometres per hour (km/h).

2. Battery Level : Shows the remaining battery life with a bar indicator, allowing you to monitor your charge status while riding.

3. Pedal Assist Level : Displays the current level of pedal assist (PAS) being used, ranging from levels 1 to 5, depending on the bike model.

4. Odometer: Tracks the total distance you’ve traveled, and you can switch between trip distance and total distance.

5. Power Output: This shows the power being drawn by the motor in watts, helping you understand how much energy is being consumed.

6. Error Codes: Displays error messages that can help identify specific issues with the e-bike components, such as motor, battery, or controller errors.

The SW900 display simplifies control, offering a clear view of all the crucial aspects of your e-bike, while giving you the ability to set settings and optimize performance.

SW900 Advanced settings:

P01 is for setting  Background luminance. 1 is the darkest, 3 is the brightest

P02 is for setting Unit of the mileage. 0 is KM, 1 is MILE

P03 is to show Voltage grades. It may be 24V,36V,48V depending on your ebike model.

P04 indicates Sleep time. 0 is without sleep, other numbers stand for the sleep time (1-60 min).

P05 allows you to choose between different pedal assist levels. PAS grades 0-3 or PAS grades 1-5

P06 indicates  Wheel size. Unit: inch. Precision: 0.1

P07 Speed measuring magnet. Range: 1-100

P08 Speed limit. Range: 0-50 km/h,

50 means without limit No-Communication Status (controlled by the meter): when the real speed is over the ones we set, the meter would shut off PWM output;

when less than the speed we set, the meter would turn on PWM output automatically, the driving speed would be ±1 km/h; (Speed limit is for PAS, not for Throttle) Communication Status (controlled by the controller): The driving speed keeps same with the ones we set. These data are based on KM. When changing KM to Mile, the speed value on the screen would convert to correct Miles automatically, but if you do not change the setting of speed limit from KM to Mile, it would be different from the real speed limit in Mile.

P09 is for Zerostart & Non-zero Start. 0 is Zero Start, 1 is Non-zero Start

P10 allows you to select  Driving mode. Choose  0 to select PAS (Throttle will not work at this time). Choose 1 to select Throttle (PAS will not work this time). Select 2 to drive ebike by both modes (PAS and Throttle).

Note that,Throttle is useless at Zero Start status.

P11 is for PAS sensitivity. Range: 1-24

P12 is for PAS start strength. Range: 0-5

P13 is for PAS magnet type. There are 3 types: 5, 8, and 12.

P14 to select TheCurrent-limiting of Controller. The original Current is 12A. Range:1-20A

P15 is  Not implemented now.

P16 is to reset the Odometer.
